#DIY126 Beaded Crystal Wall Sconces
Circa 1920’s pair of beaded crystal Baroque style oversized wall sconces with original gold leaf patina & graduated crystal beading. From the historical landmark Olympic Hotel in Seattle, Washington. The hotel opened in 1924 on the original site of the University of Washington’s first campus. The architecture is Italian Renaissance and in 1979 it was added to the national register of historic places. Only a very few of the original light fixtures, chandelier & wall sconces remain and are in use in the historic hotel renamed the Fairmont Olympic.
